Character Sheets

Post  Lynkzero13 on Sun Jun 24, 2012 8:53 pm

The signup info for existing characters goes here for reference purposes.

Name: Batou

Universe: Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, one year after the end of 2nd GiG, and one year prior to the events of Solid State Society.

Appearance, sans gatling gun.

Powers/Skills:
*A fully Cybernetic body, which allows for superhuman strength, increased durability and optical camouflage.
*Cybernetic eyes which grant better-than-normal vision, thermal imaging, up to 10x zoom, and limited audio/video recording capability.
*Roughly a decade of military service and experience working with squad tactics, most notably with the the Japanese Ground Self Defense Force (JGSDF), where he reached Ranger (spec ops) status.
*Limited hacking skills. Batou is capable of hacking certain machines given enough time, and even hacking the visual sensors of robots and cyborgs from his world on the fly.

Equipment:
*A Browning BDA-9 pistol, modified to fire .45 ACP rounds.
*A P90 personal defense weapon.
*Ammunition for both guns. He came in with eight and three magazines worth, respectively, but since then his supplies have dwindled significantly.
*A combat knife from his days in the JGSDF.
*A portable dummy barrier to protect him from countermeasures during direct-interface hacking attempts.

Re: Character Sheets

Post  Doctor Thunder on Wed Jun 27, 2012 10:52 pm

Name: Raspberyl

Universe: Disgaea 3, two years after the game’s good ending.

Appearance (note: probably far less cheery at this point in the story)

Powers/Skills:

    * Fire Magic (Single-target or small AOE) – Usually just fireballs, and the size and force behind them can vary, though they'll never bee larger than, say, a basketball. The smallest fireballs have approximately the same force as a brick hurled at the speed of a baseball, so despite this being her "weakest" spell, it still packs quite a punch.
    * Healing Magic (Single-target only) – Requires direct contact with her hands. Generally takes a while for her to heal any major wounds, but she can expend a great deal more mana in order to heal someone for an increased amount all at once. This is not mana-efficient at all, however, so it's restricted for emergencies.

Buff Spells (Single-target only, each last about 30 seconds):
    * Braveheart – Increases the physical damage the target deals for a short time, but does not actually cause them to become physically stronger.
    * Target Lock – Steadies the target’s hands and gives them a keener eye for a short time, making aiming easier.
    * D-Rule 1: Morality (Small AOE) – Chains made of solid Mana burst out of the air and bind the targets in place. They can be detonated to deal some damage, and someone with sufficient physical strength can break free of them.
    * D-Rule 2: Volunteer (Large AOE) – A magic circle appears on the ground underneath the targets before erupting upward to deal damage by means of a column of Mana (in the game the targets instead momentarily faded out of existence, then took damage upon re-entry, though this has been changed for obvious reasons)
    * D-Rule 3: Eco-Friendly (Small cone-shaped AOE) – Raspberyl‘s book spews forth acidic and noxious fumes, dealing damage and creating a smokescreen. This is a rather risky technique due to the highly-poisonous properties of the fumes, as even she is at risk of becoming harmed by contact or inhalation (in the game, this summoned a five-headed snake which breathed the fumes).

    * Freyja: Lady of Vanaheimr - Raspberyl's Persona, unlocked during her Mindscape. Mostly utilizes spear attacks and ice magic, along with the ability to fly. Little else has been demonstrated thus far, but her main weakness is the fact that, because she is an aspect of Raspberyl's psyche, the two of them share pain and injuries.

Equipment:

    * A very large magic tome, which functions as a focus for her spells, though it isn’t necessary for casting them (although it would be unwise for her to use Eco-Friendly with her own hands as the source of the fumes). Losing her book will make casting consume much more Mana, however.
    * A large book bag to carry the aforementioned books. Also packed with all manner of various school supplies.
    * Her glasses, which don’t actually improve her vision but provide the essential service of making her look smarter when necessary (or so she thinks).
    * Aurum's mantle. This was the trigger for her Mindscape before, but now it doesn't seem to do anything.

Re: Character Sheets

Post  Aken Jizo on Wed Jun 27, 2012 11:35 pm

Name: Guan Yu

Universe: Dynasty Warriors 7 [[spoiler: just before the battle that claims his life. In the game, the person to land the killing blow can either be Xiahou Dun or Lu Meng. For the purposes of this game (just in case it ever comes up), Guan Yu's killer will be Lu Meng.]]

Appearance: He's my Avatar. If this ever stops being a thing, I'll stop being retarded for a minute and figure out how to pic.

Powers/Skills:

*Physically very strong, His strength and skill in battle eventually got him the nickname "The God of War".

*Has a high tolerance for pain. Note that this simply means that he reacts to pain mildly, not that he doesn't feel it.

*Is a master of the guan dao. As such, he can cut people a full blade length away from the actual blade (not counting handle).

*Is competent with a bow, though he prefers melee combat.

*Can strike hard enough to create a whirlwind in front of him (musou attack 1).

*Can strike hard enough to create flames in a circle around him (musou attack 2).

*In order to use a musou attack he has to either become near death or build enough momentum by killing enemies.

*Can increase his damage dealing and resistance for a limited time. A small spurt of flames pops up below his feet for a second when he does this.

Equipment:

*The Green Dragon, his personal guan dao. Has no special traits besides being exceptionally forged.

*Standard issue Shu armor underneath a green robe.

*Wooden Bow with 15 iron arrows.

Entry Point: B

Why I picked this character: Because I love the Dynasty Warriors series and Guan Yu is my favorite character.

Post  The Bountiful Cock Tree on Thu Jun 28, 2012 12:08 am

Name: Aki Kawachi

Universe: OC, like a bawss. Then she moved to 40K because things happened in Season 2 involving senseless adoptions and the Hero of the Imperium. I'm not proud.

Appearance: Crying or Very sad

But yeah. Short, brown, severely and very noticeably underweight, has a sort of unkempt bob cut for hair. Generally unhappy. Has a bar-code tattooed on the back of her neck. Gives the general effect of a terminally depressed bonsai palm tree.

Powers/Skills/Abilities
* Enhanced muscle density. Makes her stronger, makes her faster by extension, makes it so that in addition to being borderline anorexic you can see her muscles coiling and knotting whenever she moves. Attractive.
* Ceramic overlay on her bones, microporous so as to avoid fucking up red blood cell production. Makes her bones stronger than a malnourished 17 year old's bones would usually be, but by no means renders them unbreakable.
* Knives, in teh forearms, the idea being that they extend out through the inside of her wrists. Short and sharp, more use as last resort stabbing weapons than anything to slice and dice.
* Nanobots, or possibly nanites depending which is in fashion, chilling out in all her bodily fluids. Heal wounds, repair implants, keep her blades nice and sharp. Can preserve her brain for a time after death bring her back, assuming there's physically enough left to save. If there isn't then they'll be the ones to lock up after everyone's gone home, metaphorically speaking. Controlled by an AI piggybacking along the network, but it's far too inhuman to ever be capable of communication. Or ever want to.
* Knowledge of human anatomy, learnt by osmosis and a pretty decent biology education in her childhood. Nothing surgeon-level, but she can reliably find somebody's heart and the majority of their major arteries.
* Willingness to kill, which is sort of a skill. Certainly she knows the value of dehumanization.
* The ability to hit the broad side of a barn in a firefight.
* Wah!
* What are we gonna do on the bed?
* Pomf

Equipment:
* One (1) ageing M1 Garand rifle, oiled wood stock.
* Four (4) .30-03 rounds, currently in its magazine.
* One (1) Imperium issue Valhallan-pattern greatcoat, including epaulettes.
* One (1) pair of Imperium issue Valhallan-pattern combat boots, scuffed.
* Two (2) Aquila cufflinks.
* One (1) half eaten snack bar, stale.
* Pocket lint.

Re: Character Sheets

Post  Cojiro on Thu Jun 28, 2012 12:58 am

Name: Lina Inverse

Universe: Slayers

Powers/Skills:
* Black Magic - Lina specializes in black magic, which calls upon the powers of the monsters and dark lords of her world. Her signature move is the Dragon Slave, which, after an incantation, releases an explosive beam of energy capable of destroying an entire mountain or town. In the Extremus, however, she is cut off from her world and the dark lords who give her black magic form, thus her black magic is unusable (except in GM-approved situations).
* Shamanistic Magic - Lina is also well-versed in shamanism, which draws on the power of nature and the energies of the astral plane, or spirit world (these spells are not limited in Extremus in the way Black Magic is). She knows spells from each of the four elements as well as astral-energy spells. A few such spells include
** Fireball: Perhaps Lina's favorite spell. It is a ball of fire that is thrown and explodes on contact. Mid-power spell. Lina can control it's power and make fairly weak ones (often to punish her friends when they annoy her) or make one explode before it even makes contact with a target by yelling "Break!"
** Flare Arrow: An easier to direct but less powerful fire magic spell.
** Ice Arrow: An ice equivalent to the flare arrow spell.
** Zelas Gort: Summons a giant jellyfish that's not even poisonous... yeah.
** Levitation: Allows limited, slow flight and simultaneous casting of other simple spells
** Raywing: Faster than levitation, but other spells can't be cast while in use
** Bomb Di Wind: A pressurized blast of air
** Digger Bolt: A powerful electric attack
** Elmekia Lance: A basic astral attack that only affects astral bodies (thus it affects humans only mentally but hurts supernatural beings such as ghosts and monsters).
* White Magic: Lina knows little white magic. She is limited to the simple lighting spell, very basic healing (mainly to close small wounds), and a magic barrier (this is strong but can rarely be cast more than one battle at a time do to the toll it takes on the caster)

Equipment:
* A dagger (Note: she eventually traded this, along with her shoulder guards, for a sword)
* A headband that helps resist mental manipulation
* A cape (Note: she came in with a nice one that got ruined; the one she has now is plain and a little ragged)
* Demon's Blood Talismans: These four talismans are worn at Lina's neck, waist, and on either wrist. They each represent one of the four Dark Lords of the Slayers universe, and call upon their power to increase Lina's magic capacity. But, as with her black magic, these talismans seem mostly unresponsive in Extremus. The still give her a small power boost.

Rogue

Post  GameGuru on Thu Jun 28, 2012 1:19 am

Spoiler:
Anne Marie Raven
Universe: Marvel Universe, though from the comics circa 1999.
Powers/Skills:Rogue is a mutant.
* Power Absorption:
Can absorb the powers, energies, memories, knowledge, talents, personality and physical abilities (whether superhuman or not) of another human being (or members of some sentient alien races) through physical contact of her skin with the skin of the other person. She is not limited to absorbing superhuman abilities: for example, she has absorbed the strength, agility, and sharp reflexes of an enhanced human. She can also absorb psionic abilities. In absorbing another persons memories, Rogue also gains the emotional responses connected to them. For the transfer of abilities to be accomplished, Rogue’s skin must contact the skin of her victim. Rogue can only absorb abilities and memories from living organic beings. She could possess the powers of several superhuman persons at once, but for the purposes of this RP is now limited to only having only the abilities of the last person she touched.

Rogue also absorbs gross physical characteristics from a victim, but her physical appearance does not change when she absorbs abilities and memories from a normal looking human being. The victim's abilities and memories are absorbed for what in the RP would be a 6:1 ratio, meaning that for every one post of actual contact, Rogue has six posts to utilize that power before it fades away. Those touched are rendered unconscious by contact with her, though some powerful beings, including Juggernaut and Mojo have resisted this effect. Any person rendered unconscious by Rogue's touch will wake up when Rogue loses their power. While in this RP, her use of this power will be involuntary.

This transfer is usually temporary, lasting for a period of time relative to how long contact is maintained, but the transfer may become permanent in certain cases. For example, she absorbed Ms. Marvel's powers permanently due to unknown reasons (Ms. Marvel's strange mix of human and Kree DNA may have had something to do with it). Most often the process happens instantly when Rogue touches someone, but in certain instances where a being has possessed an extraordinary level of power they are able to resist her, and she may only share part of their memories and power.

Her power is proved to be lethal. Mutants are proved to be stronger than humans because mutants
have mutated genetics, which means that her power does less lethal effects for most mutants than humans. Her flirt, Cody Robbins, was in coma state for 3 weeks with just a brief touch. If she had touched Cody a bit longer, he had been already dead. It proves that if she touches her victim too long, she may kill her victim because of too much loss of energies due to the absorption, except if she voluntarily kills her victim with her deadly touch. Although mutants are stronger than humans, she can still voluntarily kill mutants with her deadly touch as she wishes. Generally, most characters in the RP would be stronger than normal human if they actually have a power that Rogue would be able to absorb.

As Rogue is absorbing the total psyche of a person, there is a risk of a personality overwhelming her and taking control of her body, including Spiral and Mr. Sinister who both proved to be the dominant personality. It has also been shown that even though Rogue forgets the memories she has absorbed when a psyche returns to its body, 'echoes' of their personalities remain buried in her mind.

Robotic beings are immune to her power as are undead. Depending on the amount of organics left, she can usually affect cyborgs, though not take any powers granted by cybernetics. Powerful enough beings can withstand her touch and attempt to impose their own will on her or cause a feedback loop.

Due to unknown factors Rogue permanently absorbed superhuman powers from Ms. Marvel, though those powers have disappeared after battling Vargas. It has been suggested that Ms. Marvel's unique physiology played a role.
* Super Strength (from Ms. Marvel): For the purposes of this RP, Rogue possess this power equal to the strengh of other characters in this RP with this ability.
* Flight (from Ms. Marvel): She has the ability of flight, though for the purposes of this RP, it will be fast, but not fast enough to break a challenge.

Rogue is currently dealing with having been infected with Phazon due to contact with Dark Samus and a creature representing the Phazon had formed in her mind. While Lina's Astral Magic is keeping it in check, how long will its effect last?
Equipment: Whatever outfit and items Ashur decides to give her, considering her clothes in her last appearance.
"Why did you pick this character?": Because I believe Rogue in general is an interesting character in terms of personality. Like many Marvel characters, Rogue has a flaw, but her flaw is that her power is also her curse. She is unable to know the touch of another being, and should she use her power to its fullest, she could lose her very sense of self in the process.

Re: Character Sheets

Post  Kiri Ame on Thu Jun 28, 2012 3:16 am

* Name: May Summers

* Universe: Pokemon - four years after returning from the second City, and about three and a half years after the end of Pokemon Emerald.

* Appearance: I'll change my avatar to her in a second. Depending on what avatar I choose, though, she's going to look a lot more fifteen/dishevelled than she would otherwise. She's also down to her last bandana, so odds are she'll be deprived of her headgear at some point in the near future.

* Powers/Skills: May is a Pokemon Trainer, which means that her main power is her ability to call on and command her team of six Pokemon (A Gardevoir, a Blaziken, a Linoone, a Mightyena, a Ludicolo and a Skarmory.) Aside from that, she has reasonably good leadership skills for a teenager, survival skills including basic first aid, and the benefits of physical fitness, including very good hand-eye coordination.

* Equipment: Carries a backpack, and has six slots on her belt where she carries her Pokemon in their Pokeballs. She has another three, empty Pokeballs in her bag, as well as a fold-up bicycle and two changes of clothes, one of which is dirty and the other torn and bloodstained thanks to her time in Extremus so far. She also carries some bandages, a first-aid kit, and, for complicated reasons, a small Wailmer stuffed toy (currently residing in the bottom of her bag.)

Post  Lizard Of Aus on Thu Jun 28, 2012 3:46 am

Name: Vezon

Universe: BIONICLE

Appearance: Something like a silver and black biomechanical lizard-man in a cape.

Powers/Skills: The power of the Olmak mask lets him create inter-dimensional doors, but naturally he's locked into Extremus.

Equipment: The Spear of Fusion, which has capabilities he uses far less often than he could.

"Why did you pick this character?": I really, really like Vezon. Perhaps too much so. I like his lunacy, I like his source material, and I like how my writing style lines up with his dialogue rather well.

Re: Character Sheets

Post  Gaunt88 on Thu Jun 28, 2012 6:12 am

Name: Agatha Heterodyne

Universe: Girl Genius, between escaping from Sturmhalten and reaching Mechanisburg.

Appearance: A stocky young woman with long strawberry-blonde hair and round glasses. Images to come eventually.

Powers/Skills:

The Spark: Agatha is a Spark, meaning she has an instinctual, intuitive grasp of engineering and technology. She is able to determine the function and internal workings of almost any technology with just a few moments study (depending on the technology level at play, obviously) and design improvements, or entirely new machines, on the fly. When she enters a state of hyper-focus known as “the Madness Place” her engineering abilities increase to levels that seem to bend the laws of physics, at the cost of trivial concerns like common sense, OH&S and normal social niceties.

Combat training: Agatha’s friend Zeetha is in the process of teaching her how to fight (with mixed success). As a result, Agatha is physically fit and agile, and at least knows one end of a sword from the other. She still prefers a good Death Ray, though.

Equipment:
- A basic toolbelt, with screwdrivers, spanners, etc, as well as a few more exotic tools.
- Her locket (see note below)
Note: Taking Agatha from this point in the story means she’s still carrying the mental imprint of series Big Bad Lucrezia Mongfish, her mother, in her head – the result of a failed attempt at Grand Theft Me. Lucrezia is ruthless, manipulative and ambitious, and is currently stronger than Agatha’s personality. However, Agatha’s locket contains a mental dampening device that suppresses her. So long as she’s wearing the locket, Agatha is in control.

"Why did you pick this Character?": Girl Genius is one of my favourite stories, and Agatha is a fun character. I’m looking forward to playing a Mad Scientist and the opportunities for creativity she’ll bring.

Re: Character Sheets

Post  Flanker 66 on Thu Jun 28, 2012 7:26 am

Here's the sheet - ah, the memories...:

*Name: Kyle Katarn

*Universe: Star Wars, 4 months after the events of Jedi Academy

*Appearance: Here (to be added at a later date).

*Powers/Skills:
**He is talented at using a wide variety of weapons, such as [=E-11=] blaster rifles, the Bryar blaster pistol, and even Merr-Sonn PLX-2M missile launchers.
**Kyle is extremely skilled with the lightsabre, especially the form known as Djem So.
**Gifted with a wide range of force abilities, such as:
***Force Pull, which allows him to pull multiple enemies off of their feet using the Force. If they aren't strong enough, or they don't have any way to resist the technique (such as being Force Sensitive), they may have their weapon(s) pulled out of their hands. This ability is more effective on someone who is in mid-air (say, due to flight or jumping).
***Force Push, which basically does the opposite. Force Sensitives, as above, can resist this power, although the same is probably true of certain other abilities. This ability is more effective on someone who is in mid-air (say, due to flight or jumping).
***Force Heal, which does exactly what it says on the tin. For RPing purposes, however, it can be interrupted if Kyle's taken by surprise or he's being pressed hard by a foe.
***Kyle also has access to Force Lightning, which allows you to barbeque your foe to a crispy degree. However, in this RP he will not be able to access it unless he's sufficiently angered, and it'll drain his reserves quickly, leaving him vulnerable.
***Battle Precognition. For the purposes of this RP, he will only be able to deflect projectiles, nothing more. Even then, bullets will have an easier time of getting past his defences, and enough massed firepower of any type is more likely to overwhelm him than otheriwse.
***Force Jump: The ability to use the Force to jump great distances and heights; however, it will drain his Force reserves to a significant degree.
**Force Grip allows Kyle to seize an enemy with the Force, slowly constricting their throats, as well as allowing him to move them at his leisure. However, here it won't damage the target unless Kyle is sufficiently enraged, and use of external propulsion (like a jetpack) will allow the target to break the grip. The same is true of disrupting his concentration, and he will be open to attack when he uses this power.
***Force Protection and Force Absorb serve similar functions. Force Protection shields Kyle from physical harm (though not all of it), including low-level environmental hazards like acid rain, while Force Absorb absorbs force powers and uses the energy to replenish Kyle's own reserves. They disappear after a certain amount of time. Neither power is going to work 100%, and can'' be overwhelmed with brute strength.
***Mind Trick, which can temporarily (emphasis on "temporarily") turn one or two weak-minded people (read: mooks) into allies, although any aggressive action against the target will make them snap out of it. It can also make three (at most) enemies essentially "forget" about Kyle if he uses the force power on a nearby surface, since they will be distracted by an illusion. It can work on non-mooks, but people can resist, and it will be much tougher the more strong-willed someone is.
***Force Throw. Kyle uses the Force to throw his lightsaber and then catch it, like a boomerang. It can be knocked out of the air, deactivating it and forcing Katarn to waste time retrieving it.
***Force Speed is pretty self-explanatory; it boosts Kyle's speed and agility, making him ''much'' faster than normal for a period of time. However, it drains him pretty quickly, which would leave him quite vulnerable after using it.
**Finally, Kyle is at the very least adept at close-quarters fighting, being able to use chokeholds and such to get an advantage over an enemy who decides to use fisticuffs.

*Equipment: A shield generator (that must be recharged, otherwise it will shut down after sustaining enough hits), his lightsabre, his Bryar pistol, a datapad, and an E-11. He will also arrive in a (damaged) Raven's Claw, which doesn't have too many facilities aside from a few beds and a recharging station (and some ammunition for his weapons).

*Why did you pick this character?: I enjoyed his game series, and I think he'd be a really interesting and fun character to play as.

Re: Character Sheets

Post  Megafire on Thu Jun 28, 2012 7:41 am

Name:
  • Kanaya Maryam

Universe:
  • Homestuck

Appearance:
  • See my avatar.

Powers/Skills:
  • She is a Rainbow Drinker, meaning she's faster and stronger than normal trolls (who are in themselves stronger and faster than humans) and she has a healing factor. She can also serve as a nightlight, although sleeping next to her is somewhat ill-advised, due to her bloodlust.
  • She also made a universe out of frogs once, but I don't think that's entirely relevant here.

Equipment:
  • Her lipstick that turns into a chainsaw. She also has a lot of dresses in her Sylladex.

"Why did you pick this character?":
  • I picked Kanaya because she's essentially my favourite character out of my favourite web comic. She's also a good teamplayer, so there's plenty of opportunity to interact with others.

As adapted from the original sign-up thread.

Post  Thanatologist on Thu Jun 28, 2012 10:44 am

*Name: Angela Strraughend

*Universe: Rusty Hearts

*Appearance: Link.

*Powers/Skills: (I generalized her skills from the game, as they would be too many)
**Elemental Magic: (aside from spells, she can also imbue her weapon with these elements' characteristics and cure afflictions based on these elements, as well as having a slight resistance to them)
***Fire (relatively small AoE, mostly exploding fireballs and firewalls)
***Earth: A rock fist from the ground(rel. small AoE) and a localized sandstorm(large AoE, gradually covers the affected into stone temporarily immobilizing them)
***Wind: Wind blast(wide frontal blast, slows) and tornado-type(suction) attacks
***Water/Ice (mostly ice, really. shards and the like)
**Holy Magic: Magic missiles(target, homing), heal/regen(large AoE, take a while to use again), vertical light pillars.
**Sword/Scythe Skill: Despite being a witch, Angela has a thing for slicing through her enemies with her weapon at times.

*Equipment:
***Graestra, an ancient blade possessed by an evil spirit.
****Graestra can take on a scythe form, removing Angela's heal and making her spells more violent (but less precise. e.g. magic missiles multiply but stop homing, AoE spells do more damage, sandstorm becomes an actual sandstorm, etc.).
***Costumes(I just wanted to put them in). Angela doesn't mind dressing up.

*Why did you pick this character?: She's my main char in the game, she has a funny personality, and I like scythes.

Re: Character Sheets

Post  Oni-Lord on Thu Jun 28, 2012 2:08 pm

Name: Zidane Tribal
Universe: Final Fantasy IX,
Appearance: Link
Powers/Skills:
Agility - Zidane is an incredibly dexterous young man, able to do flips, somersaults, and other such feats with relative ease. This also helps him be pretty quick.
Thievery - He is quite good at picking people's pockets of light items and getting away with it before the person notices.
Trance - Trance is triggered by a strong surge of emotion. Once that is reached, Zidane enters a transformation where he is enveloped a purple light, fir grows over several parts of his body, and he glows purple. In Trance he is faster and stronger for a short period of time. he is also able to use his Dyne abilities solely during Trance. It is temporary though and wares off quickly.
Dyne - Only available to Zidane during Trance. He manipulates the energy he lets off during Trance to deal damage. They vary in power and use.
Equipment:
2 Mage Masher Daggers which can be put together to make The Ogre.
"Why did you pick this character?": I believe myself to be a fan of the Final Fantasy games. My favorite out of all of them being IX with Zidane being my favorite protagonist out of all of them. Hes a nice change of pace from the brooding pretty boys and the retarded man-children.

Re: Character Sheets

Post  lightdarkhero250 on Thu Jun 28, 2012 6:30 pm

Name: Lucas

Universe: Mother 3, after the world ends.

Appearance: Avatar go!

Powers/Skills: A user of a vast array of PSI/PK powers, which include...
Offensive: (Mostly adapting from Super Smash Bros., if that's alright. Will limit/delete/learn one at a time through a span of days if requested...)
  • PK Fire: In essence a form of pyrokinesis, except not really. Instead of lighting things on fire with pure mental thought, Lucas can shoot a short burst of flame from his fingers. Can be spread out in an unconcentrated, horizontal fashion.
PK Thunder: A ball of mentally controlled lightning. Although weak on it's own, can be used for more creative purposes. (Using SSB version as it can be adapted better than thunderbolts striking down from the sky.)
PK Freeze: A freezing blow of wind, which, if strong enough, could possibly slow or temporarily freeze an enemy or body part.
PK Flash: A quick, blinding flash that can be rather stunning/distracting to all around, could be dangerous around allies if they don't close their eyes.
PK Love: An inner shock wave of pure, raw, emotional power coming from Lucas.

Assist:
  • PSI Lifeup: A recovering, emanation of PSI, that could probably lessen some minor wounds, scratches, or bruises.
PSI Shield: A damage-reducing cover of psychic energy that Lucas can put over himself or others. Doesn't make anyone invincible, and requires the young boy's concentration to keep up any more than 1 at a time, meaning he could leave himself open while doing it.

Equipment: Carries a small rucksack, containing only a few memorable things from his life before.
Franklin Badge: A small badge that blocks, or flat-out deflects electricity.

"Why did you pick this Character?": One of my favorite game characters from one of my favorite game series growing up. I've played as him before, so I'm pretty familiar with him in that regard, and, really I just want to slip back into the feel of an interactive RP and have fun with it again, with a character that can sort of mesh well with other characters.

Re: Character Sheets

Post  Luke_Prowler on Fri Jun 29, 2012 4:33 pm

Name: Gene (last name unknown)

Universe: God Hand, one month after the battle with ANGRA and saving Olivia

Apperance: linky linky

Powers/Skills: Gene gains many of his abilities from the God Hand, including:
*Gene has a vast knowledge of several different martial arts ranging from kung fu to drunken boxing, which he uses readily.
*Increased strength. His more powerful moves can launch enemies across the room or even send 'em flying into the milky way.
*Increased speed, agility, and reaction times.
*Roulette moves, extremely powerful moves that often swing the course of battle. However Gene has a limit to how many he can use, and can miss.
*God Hand's "super mode", unleashing the full might of the god hand. Gene is invincible when using it (nerfed for this RP, obviously), becomes even stronger and faster, and can automatically break an opponent's attempts to block. However, the super mode is extremely short and regaining the Tension takes a while.

Equipment: Deistic Brace: a set of artifacts on Gene's right arm (the titular God Hand) which help him control the God Hand's power. Losing them won't be catastrophic, but he won't be able to regain Tension.

PC for AU Day

Post  Cojiro on Fri Jun 29, 2012 11:37 pm

Name: Hiiragi (AU name: Hiiragi Natori)

Universe: Natsume Yuujinchou

Appearance: For the duration of the AU, you can go by my icon.

Powers/Skills:
* Youkai: As a youkai (Japanese spirit or demon), Hiiragi is only visible/audible to the more mystically inclined.
* Swordswoman: She possess a katana which she wields with proficiency.
** AU Day: In place of this ability, Hiiragi can use a gun and simple martial arts to fit her bodyguard position.
* Protection charm: She can write a symbol on someone, using a brush and ink, that will protect them once from a hostile strike.
* Recovery: Though not really more durable than the average human, Hiiragi does heal faster. However, this requires energy that will leave her physically weaker for a time.

Equipment:
* A one-eyed mask (she always wears this accept in the AU)
* Her clothes
* A katana and sheath
* A brush and inkstick

Note: Hiiragi will become an NPC after AU day ends.

AU PC

Post  Thanatologist on Sat Jun 30, 2012 9:08 am

Name: Estel

Universe: Rusty Hearts

Appearance: Link

Powers/Skills:
**Magic: Estel studied with Angela under Rebecca when they were kids. This gives her abilities similar to Angela, but at a lesser scale (because Angela bonded her soul with a demon sword). However, she is much more focused than her scatterbrained friend. This manifests in her deeper understanding of the more technical aspects of their magic (including Graestra's forms), and knowledge in magical crafting.

Equipment:
**Being forest-raised, Estel has little in the way of belongings. One the few exceptions to this are her lute, which she uses to compose songs. Unfortunately, everyone considers her music to be... unpleasant.

I won't be sticking with her after the AU day as I explained in the discussion thread.
